“I don’t like needles.”

“My blood type isn’t rare.”

“I’m too busy to give blood.”

Forget your excuses; the American Red Cross is coming on campus to collect blood on November 23. The process takes about an hour, and you must be 17 or older and at least 110lbs to donate. One pint of blood from you could save up to 3 lives. There is a constant need for blood because it cannot be stored indefinitely, so make your way to the commons between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. to donate. For more information about donating blood, go to the American Red Cross’s website.
